Remember that your gallery is not just for a specific objet d’art, but may also include your own family portraits and kids drawings! Consider your space and the story you want you wall to tell. An artist friend of mine once explained to me that you need to live in space to understand the type of art the walls need. In a room that speaks of family and stories of adventure you could collect around certain themes like sport and travel, with serene landscapes to evoke the mood desired. In a quieter room you may consider a more minimalist view and control the colour schemes more towards the neutral grey range. Here are my top 10 tips for becoming your own home gallery curator! 1. Work with a budget. Decide to spend something on making your space talk. Buying generic art at a store is uninspiring and does not set your home apart from any other. Be yourself and work towards creating a look that is memorable. 2. Build towards a theme for a room, or combine themes into a flow of images....

James 1:4 " But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing." Today I went to fix my cracked screen saver on my iPhone. The thought that the actual screen was kaput sent shivers through my wallet! The relief that it was only the screen saver that needed replacing was short-lived because it also comes at a price. I had been taught the value of patience and there were diverse teachers that warrant honourable mention: Cricket is one. Some say they invented cricket to teach people the concept of eternity. They used to play timeless tests. Once the English team were looking to win after 10 days of cricket but they had to catch a train from Durban to Cape Town in order to board their ship, the Athlone Castle back to England. At ten days, this was the longest first-class match in history A record 5,463 deliveries were bowled in the match Wally Hammond hit his 21st Test hundred, equalling the record of Don Bradman No previous Tes...

(Click for Sound Cloud Tracks) Here is a collection of some of the Drum Chart MP3 tracks that can be used to orientate drummers into grooves that we use during worship on specific songs from different genres. It covers some Latin, Afro-Cuban, Rock and Dance genres so far. We are filming the Latin tracks for All Nations School of Worship in February Lord Willing and will share that on YouTube. We are equipping worshippers with the toolkit they need to bring glory to God on their instruments. Watch this space for live workshops when we move into our new facility later in the year.
