Steel Structure Stands at Burgundy Estate

Image
Nestled in Burgundy Residential Estate, the new Church Building for Harvester is poised to reach over 6000 households locally. See the Harvest! Steel Structure of Main Auditorium for Harvester Reformational Church, Cape Town. Praise God! So the building continued and prospered by the prophesying of His prophets with Apostolic implementation against all odds from municipal red tape to water restrictions! I drove by on Reconciliation Day - a covenant day for our country with God. There is an eternal covenant with God and His Son that we enter in by faith like Abraham did when he saw the vision in Genesis 15. God told me a few months ago when things just weren't moving - "It will be built in no time!" That settled my spirit and how I spoke about it, The building orbit has taken initiative at every turn and the fact that the steel structure for the main auditorium stands - is in itself a wonderful miracle of determination. Well done guys! The support for th

Missions Art Series: "Woodstocking" in Cape Town

Image
For those who visit Cape Town I have coined a new phrase for myself: "Woodstocking" While there are terms that I won't describe here that use the same words, I feel I can redeem the term now! Things are changing quite fast in this more historic district of Cape Town - a growing metropolitan city of 3,700,000 people. (Newspaper quote from Mayor Patricia de Lille) What once was a cheaper area to rent warehouse style spaces amidst cute looking rustic colonial homes stacked up towards views of Table Mountain, is now a trend setting area. The subject for a new series of "bo-kaap colourful houses" style landscape oils that I have been working on is based on hidden gems like these: Old Biscuit Mill enthusiasts that have placed the area on the map over the last 5 years. As an artist I fund the area inspiring. Because in one shop you can get designer furniture at top prices, and two blocks on you can get rustic frames for your photos for R50!  The Tables

Apostle Emmanuel Roberts from Harvester Liberia shows how the work continues on his church ground. God moved them there just before the Ebola virus broke out - I believe God spared many lives as a result of them moving away form the area nearer Monrovia. There is a group of Churches and he is starting a new round of MBC classes focusing on the Life of Christ in August. Praise God!

4 New Bible Colleges!

Descending the Summit this year has been so interesting. The quiet peace and serenity that came from the awareness of the Father’s Presence has seeped into every aspect of life. Many young people made a decision to go to Bible College after school after hearing leaders speak about what the Word has meant to them. Thank You Jesus! Apostle Wilson form Hyderbad, India told us of how someone once sponsored him to go to Bible College and how that changed the course of his life. He experienced life as a untouchable –check out his story some of the sessions of the Summit I think it was the Tuesday Morning 19 th April. We connected well and he now has the core MBC curriculum to start training his network in India – pastors that will eventually have the MBC translation into Telagu Medium – something we still have to do! Apostle Alex from Uganda made a god impression of someone willing to go and plant churches in the villages where he is from. He is also going to help start implementing Bi

On dawn patrol this morning at MBC Camp 2016 - "dawn Patrol" is a term used in surfing when you get up at the break of day and patrol the beaches looking for waves - I got Ethan and Kristofor to join me. Kristofor is our class captain this term, elected by his peers, an honour at MBC. The glassy perfection of this morning's surf echoed the favour we received from our Father God who blessed us with a great camp. When a seal popped up his head I yelled out in my best vocal seal call impression: "Oh Oh!" and within a few seconds the little "show-off" was right next to me with his big shiny eye - checking me out in his local fishing spot! Then under my surfboard, to the other side. They catch waves with so much ease and use the energy of the swell to propel them towards their catch without the effort we have to incur in paddling. At home in the ocean. We should give him credit for attending MBC Camp as well - make a note Pastor Angie! Getting him to grad

Full Circle: Generation Next Now at MBC

On Monday we register a new student group for 2016 at Miracle Bile College, Cape Town. Every year I am aware that God sends people for us to train. We are always so honoured that people answer the call to study the Word of God on a daily basis for a year. This is truly the most absorbing way of raising the standard of hearing God’s voice through an open Bible that you can get today. Sean and Prophet Celeste Glass have journeyed with us for 2 decades and now their eldest is enrolling. From the letter you notice how God uses different people in the Church to connect people into an orbit of discipleship: “Dear Apostle Aje, …In January of 1996 Pastor Stefan (then dating Wilna) abruptly stopped me in the middle of the road at a tri-athlon race, and asked if I was in a church, told me he was picking me up the next morning and that's that. (We weren't friends at the time, we just knew each other from seeing at training or events) At the service in Milnerton High School hal
