Every time we take God's presence to Schools, we focus on something different. This time we spoke to them about the value of using study methods in conjunction with the Holy Spirit. We have been ministering in De Grendel since 1995 - that's 20 years of input. However we have also recognized the important role of local teachers as the sustainable components of any school ministry. Every 3 years there is a turnover of kids, so that the only way to really build something lasting is through relating to the needs and requests of the teacher in charge of spirituality. Thankfully we have had good favor and been allowed to minister to the children over the years. MBC 2014 is a good team of students from different nations - a real league of nations spiritually! The secret of understanding God’s Will for your life is to realize that the Word of God is a Person, the Lord Jesus Christ. John wrote about the Word: John 1:1-4   “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.” In Hebrews we read that the worlds were framed by the Word of God. The sad thing about the Word of God initially was that He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, yet the world did not know Him. This is still evident today as people discover more of God’s wonders in Creation without glorifying the Creator of the marvels we enjoy and learn to protect from generation to generation. "The Art of Surf" a few years ago was a good start and creative an awareness of the link between our talents and the great commission Jesus gave - to make disciples of all nations. There is a team of apostolic people behind every successful Art Auction. When I walked into a gallery last month and told the curator about the sales of our Missionary Art, she asked for my details because any artist would love to have this kind of support. Global Networking and Radio Astronomy By Apostle Aje Pelser, Director for Harvester International Ministries The Lord is speaking to me about synergy in this move of God and there are signs in the natural that speak of spiritual networking. Normal optical telescopes are limited on earth due to weather and pollution. Even the great Hubble Space Telescope struggles to see distant galaxies through stellar debris and dust. Dust speaks of flesh when we talk spiritually. Our flesh tends to hinder vision and clarity of revelation. But radio frequencies can be detected through dust by radio telescopes. When our spirits are tuned into God’s word and the greater Body of Christ, we can hear from God more clearly with an open Bible. The combined effect of many churches accurately hearing from God’s word with synergy, forms a strong signal far greater than any single revelation a person can derive from endless hours in prayer alone. What a privilege to work with this year's cast and crew. We realized that last night was our 13th Good News performance and it happened in 2013! A whole bunch of kids gave their hearts to the Lord on the first night as well as a young man coming back to Jesus. A lady in church brought two of her friends to the Good News Production at Harvester Reformational Church, Cape Town and one got saved, the other lady expressed her desire to come back to church again. When I asked them what spoke to them from the play, they said the scene where the main character faced anxiety - Stella's trauma scene. In the storyline the lead role of Stella was interpreted brilliantly by Michelle Louw, 1st year MBC student. God has helped Michelle deal with trauma in her family too after a gruesome car accident losing her sister and father in the process. Creation Dance is a production that seeks to glorify God as the Creator of the Universe through dance and mime with original music. When I heard that the nature loving magazines and cable channels were celebrating 125 years of existence without glorifying the Creator of the nature they praise, it was time to honour God. With superb weather conditions – thank the Lord - It all went well and we had close to 100 players! With their friends and families it was a good turnout. Ajax Fives Futbol provided the facility and thanks to Marc Viljoen who guided me through the process of hosting our first tournament. There was a jumping castle sponsored by Remax Properties Table View. Katie Louwrens did face painting for all the kids and Arthur Eiseb marched the kids around the fields with drums for Jesus! There was a great food tent with free drinks and Apostle Ike Ibeh sponsored an energy drink. Pastor Louw Haasbroek did a great job braaiing the Boerewors! Apostle Ike’s Nigerian team he entered got into the finals for the CUP. 36 Matches were played and Teacher Neil Lombard excelled at the admin side of things carefully logging each match and finding anomalies in the Tournament spreadsheets!
