Art of a Missionary & Son Auction

Image
Before we knew it, we were holding art exhibitions together, Dad and I, for the last few Missionary Art Auctions in aid of global missions. So why not reach the rest of the nations of the world in one lifetime? After reaching a 100 nations with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I have started to realize what my job is - to follow up the nations reached and go and build those spiritual cities with resources, support and new Godly Church structures. In order to reform the land, we first need to reform the church. In many African countries for instance, we often see a large majority of people serving God at church, yet the country is steeped in corruption and men build equally distorted church kingdoms behaving like chiefs with their congregations. There are of course many wonderful churches too that resemble Christ in a many membered body, but that is as rare as a road in Africa. When I asked apostle Andre in his capacity as a pioneer in African missions, what Africa really needed - he said t

Apostles Brothers and Sons on Stage

The fact that we actually had apostles and apostles’ sons working in this production is quite interesting. Working through 2 Corinthians this term and creating a new subject manual for Miracle Bible College was actually part of my process as an actor. Every actor on stage was encouraged to write a short character biography for each role they played. Discovering more about the Saul - Paul transformation helped to plot the graph of my character and relate to the interplay between mentor and protégé. Hilton is a wonderful actor on stage and his emotional intelligence and ability to react to different situations live really added to the whole production. Apostle Leigh Collins excelled with his dancer prophet wife Lynette – who admitted that it was the first time she danced on the show – made the whole story come to life with multiple art forms including dancing, mime and an African gum boot stomp routine! My own Dad is an apostle so I had no problem playing Silas over a decade ago.

Apostle Leigh and I had to decide last moment whether or not we are going to live stream the event - the jailbreak of the century. Security is high and tension is mounting and the jailor - played by Rudi Faurie - has obtained a realistic Beretta 9mm pistol, a great replica, that needs to be wrenched from his stuntman grip later on. Jailor (Rudi Faurie) arrests Silas (Hilton Pelser) Prophet Lynette Collins is celebrating her birthday on stage today. We have all benefitted from her warm ups that have helped me to keep up with some new choreography for the Prisoners Production 2014. Our camera crew is made up of teenagers trained in our Pelser Media Video Production Course this year, and their energy and ideas are an inspiration to me. They have already started setting up shots that we have never captured before. Apostle Andre Pelser wrote and produced the musical in the early 80's while in Australia. Many souls have been saved and set free and we believe that God will confirm
